Heavenly Father, we thank You that in Your plan and purpose for this world You enabled us to hear and respond to the gospel message of salvation. We thank You that as You did so, You gave to us the Holy Spirit to seal our relationship with You.
We are thankful that this allows us to inherit all the blessings You have given us in Jesus. Enable us, by Your Spirit, to become people of grace and praise so that You may be glorified in and through our lives. We ask these things in Jesus’ name. Amen!
Scripture Reading - Ephesians 2:1-10 (Easy to Read Version)
In the past you were spiritually dead because of your sins and the things you did against God.
Yes, in the past your lives were full of those sins. You lived the way the world lives, following the ruler of the evil powers over the earth. That same spirit is now working in those who refuse to obey God.
In the past all of us lived like that, trying to please our sinful selves. We did all the things our bodies and minds wanted. Like everyone else in the world, we deserved to suffer God's anger just because of the way we were. But God is rich in mercy, and he loved us very much. We were spiritually dead because of all we had done against him.
But he gave us new life together with Christ. (You have been saved by God's grace.) Yes, it is because we are a part of Christ Jesus that God raised us from death and seated us together with him in the heavenly places.
God did this so that his kindness to us who belong to Christ Jesus would clearly show for all time to come the amazing richness of his grace. I mean that you have been saved by grace because you believed. You did not save yourselves; it was a gift from God.
You are not saved by the things you have done, so there is nothing to boast about. God has made us what we are. In Christ Jesus, God made us new people so that we would spend our lives doing the good things he had already planned for us to do.
Romans 8:28 (New International Version)
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

John 3:16-17 ERV)
God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him would not be lost but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world. He did not send him to judge the world guilty, but to save the world through him.
Romans 12:13b-15 (NIV)
Practice hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; Bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; Mourn with those who mourn.
Romans 8:35 & 37-39 (NIV)
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Revelation 3:19-20 (Easy to Read Version)
Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest, and repent. Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.
Romans 12:13b -15 (Easy to Read Version
)Look for people who need help and welcome them into your homes. Wish only good for those who treat you badly. Ask God to bless them, not curse them. When others are happy, you should be happy with them. And when others are sad, you should be sad too.
